GLITTER Application for Tiles:


Description: Cold glitter application in different colours for Tiles.


Applications: There are 3 application ways (In all the cases the mixture of Transparent lux +Catalyst has to be used up in 2 hours maximum)

1) Screen printing application:


a) To mix the Transparent lux (BMQ-TR01) + Catalyst (BMQ-QT1) in proportion 1/0,5
b) To add to the mixture the desired quantity of glitter powder and mix well
c) To screen print by Mesh 10-15
d) Clean the screen after printing with alcohol and dry it with air till all the glitter
particles have disappeared
e) Leave the application dry for 8 hours for a complete hardness (no need to be fired)
- The maximum resistance is obtained after 7 days



2) Pouring application:


f) To mix the Transparent lux (BMQ-TR01) + Catalyst (BMQ-QT1) in proportion 1/0,5
g) To add to the mixture the desired quantity of glitter powder and mix well
h) To pour the mixture on top of the tile surface just by leaving it fall or by pouring
with a pouring device (similar to cream application in cakes). The poured quantity
will level itself.
i) Leave the application dry for 8 hours for a complete hardness (no need to be fired)
The maximum resistance is obtained after 7 days

 


3) Spray application:


j) For this application the glitter is supplied already pre-mixed in liquid form
k) To add to 100 gr of the liquid glitter 3 gr of BMQ-ADIT 3 and 4 gr of BMQ-ADIT
4 and mix well.
l) To spray the liquid mixture on to the surface of the tile. Usually this application is
used for flat designs, since it does not allow to get any volume.
m) Clean the spray with alcohol.
n) Application of the Protective polishing layer:
a. To mix 100 gr of BMQ-TR02 with 35 gr of BMQ-QT2
b. To spray it over the applied glitter
c. Leave it dry for at least 6 hours
o) Leave the application dry for 6-8 hours for a complete hardness (no need to be
fired) – To reach the hardest resistance it is advised to wait for 5-6 days.


The maximum resistance is obtained after 7 days
